TOOWOOMBA will be home to two new Asian restaurants tomorrow, to coincide with the opening of Grand Central’s restaurant precinct.
Chong Co Thai Restaurant and Bar and Yum Cha Cuisine will be the first two businesses to open in the new stage.
Chong Co will introduce diners to authentic Thai foods as well as offer a modern interpretation of the cuisine.
It is owned by Pattaree Jiranuchaiwattana, her husband Vitchaya Hasitawet and their business partner Wanlop Tachaskul.
The bar is a fully licensed venue and offers a range of delicious cocktails starting from $12.
Mrs Jiranuchaiwattana said their restaurant was different to other Thai places in Toowoomba.
“We serve the meals with the aim to make people say wow,” she said.
Yum Cha Cuisine will bring an ancient dining custom to a relaxing site.
It serves traditional Chinese style Yum Cha lunch and fine Chinese cuisine for dinner.
Diners can order banquets to share or indulge in individual tasty treats.
Yum Cha Cuisine is a licensed restaurant and offers and range of alcoholic beverages.
Both restaurants are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
To celebrate the opening a 15% discount is offered at Chong Co and Yum Cha Cuisine on Thursday and Friday.
